Edelweiss Air offers direct flights from Switzerland to Costa Rica, starting in May 2017. The connection from Zürich to San José is scheduled twice a week, tuesdays and fridays. This non-stop flight will take around 12 hours and be a convenient option for travels from Central Europe without a detour to the United States.

We particularly recommend this flight for travellers from Switzerland, Austria, France and Italy.

Daily flights from Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen to London (Heathrow). From London, there is a flight in the afternoon to Miami FL with connection to San José, Costa Rica. The flight carrier from Miami is American Airlines.

Altough there are two stopovers, these flights can be done in one day (approx. 20 hours).

Service on board: comfortable air travel by British Airlines. The American Airlines flight does not include a free meal.
